DPR carried out a large roof repair job at the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) in Buxton last month, where health and safety was of high importance.
Our roofing team were contacted by HSL to carry out a range of different roof repair jobs. This included new glass seals and roof trim seals to prevent current leaks to cafe area from atrium above, which had started to become a big problem for the company.
Such was the complexity of the job and the health and safety associated with the company, HSL provided emergency staff should a need arise. A medical specialist and fall arrest team should someone be in the need of lowering to ground by harness was also on hand at all times during the work.
The work was completed in one day and having spoken to HSL since, has completely solved the issue of water leaking below.
