DPR Roofing recently completed a project in Stanley, Wakefield which involved replacing a defective flat roof to a first storey bay.

They were contacted by the occupants after they noticed a damp patch within the first floor bedroom and were concerned it could get progressively worse.

DPR’s roofers attended at the property and inspected the roof. They recommended that a new membrane should be fitted which should extend up and under the roof tiles as this was not currently in place due to past poor workmanship. After cleaning down the roof surface and applying the new polyester green mineral membrane the roofers reset the roof tiles and guttering back to good and sealed any disturbed joints. A secondary primer system was applied to the roof covering and a two stage glass fibre resin compound coating to fibre glass strand matting.
