DPR Roofing have recently completed a project involving repair works to a roof and chimney in Darfield Barnsley.
After an initial roofing survey the roof repair project involved stripping down all of the ridge tiles to the two x hips and the top apex, then cleaning down all of the old mortar bedding.
The roofers then fit quality replacement tiles, as required, due to breakage upon stripping
down of the ridge tiles. They then fit two new hip irons and re-bed the stripped ridge tiles to a new roofing grade mortar bedding and pointed flush.
Finally DPR removed the defective mortar flaunching to the chimney stack top and applied a SBR compound adhesive prior to a new roofing grade mortar flaunching.
