Darren at DPR was contacted by the occupants of a house in Carverley, Leeds after they discovered some faulty workmanship to the ridge tiles of the property.
DPR’s roofers attended at the property and carried out a thorough survey of the roof and recommended roof repair works in order to improve the roof structure.
The project involved the removal of all of the existing ridge tiles and the old mortar bed. They then ensured that there was a correct overlap of roofing felt and flat roof felt using a ruberoid membrane where required. The existing ridge tiles were then replaced on a quality roofing grade mortar bed and the ridge tiles were pointed using a quality roofing mortar.
