DPR has recently supplied roofing services for Mansfield Recovery, who repair and recover all types of vehicles including farm vehicles and serious car accidents, from their base in Leeds (LS11). The company are contracted to the police force also for accident recovery and forensic investigation services.

The roof works including the replacement of filons on their roofs. The roof lights are over 500sq metres and 148 roof lights had to be stripped out and replaced. The building has no good natural day light because of the weathering of the existing filons which were dark and dirty. Now near on pure daylight enters the vast workshop saving on wasted energy bills for electric.

All the fixing caps had to be ‘poppy red’ for safety so that people can clearly see between roof lights which you could fall through and solid roof sheets. DPR take safety very seriously and all our roofing team are qualified to industry body standards. Full internal netting was fitted as well as an external scaffold stairs system and handrail to fully ensure staff and occupants safety.

The job took our team one week to complete and the company were delighted with the results, especially the extra daylight which has already had an impact on company performance and morale.
