Bond it have recently supplied significant quantities of their ‘Acrylic Waterproofing Roof Coating’ material, Sealacryl, for a roof repair project at the head office of brewery equipment manufacturer, Microdat in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Working alongside major roofing contractor DPR Ltd, the first part of the project involved the
cleaning out, removal and disposal of all debris from all rain water gullies and gutters. Then DPR repaired badly damaged leak areas with primer and polyester based Rubberoid turbotorch on membrane. All remaining gullies were then coated with Sealacryl acrylic resin from Bond It, to ensure absolute water tightness.
As the projects main supplier, Bond it delivered and supplied over half a ton of Sealacryl – a one component, UV stable, solvent-based, multi-purpose roof coating membrane. Sealacryl is designed to prevent the ingress high quality whilst allowing any trapped moisture to escape and evaporate naturally. Manufactured with fibre reinforcement pre-dispersed in the can for ease of application.
Darren Rickett, DPR Ltd’s managing director commented, “It is important when we win contracts for Leeds roof repair projects that we have a local supplier in place that we can trust. Not only does ‘Bond it’ supply the highest quality roof coating material, but the service we receive from their main Halifax branch is second to none. We have been buying roofing products from ‘Bond it’ for over 10 years now and they have never let us down”.
