DPR Roofing Wakefield have recently completed a comprehensive roof repair project in Ossett, Wakefield.

Following an inspection by DPR’s roofers it was found that that works were required at the property to the front elevation right side valley pointing, the ridge pointing, both the rear and front hip, and also to the defective lead valley.

The project involved erecting access equipment to comply with health and safety.  Raking out the loose and defective pointing to the valley area. Applying a SBR bonding compound and repointing back to good.

Lifting and removing of all mortar beds to loose ridge tiles as required and rebedding these tiles. Raking out of remainder of loose and defective pointing to the entire ridge. Applying an SBR bonding compound and repointing back to good.

The defective lead valley was repaired by erecting of tower scaffold system and stripping out the existing lead valley.  DPR then fit a new code five sheet lead valley at 1.2 metre intervals for expansion purposes.  They removed damaged slates and supplied and fit replacements in the leaking areas.
