Windy and stormy weather can often cause damage to any roof, new or old and that usually results in the need for roof repairs.

Mr Bracewell of Holt Park, Leeds called DPR following a night of storms, with water coming through the upstairs bathroom ceiling. After further assessment, DPR identified that the gale force wind had caused major storm damage to his Leeds roof. Not only had several roof tiles been dislodged, but the ridge pointing had become loose and defective – this needed to be re-pointed using roofing grade mortar. The resulting rain had also damaged the exposed roof felt which needed to be cut, replaced with a new section of breathable felt.
